More of Washington DC....at Night

Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope your week has gotten off to a bright and wonderful start.

During our visit to Washington DC, we were able to visit many different places and experience many things that are different from Southern California.  Seeing the different buildings, the monuments, the Smithsonians, etc during the daytime was wonderful...but once the sun goes down, the lights come on and Washington DC is transformed into a completely different view.

On our last night in Washington, we had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful dinner at the historic Old Ebbitt Grill across from the White House, and then take a walking tour of The National Mall.  Once I saw the lights shining on the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial I was in complete awe!!
