Formula Drift Round 1 Top 32 - Long Beach, CA 04.10.10

Saturday at Formula Drift began with the Top 32 qualifiers from Friday going head-to-head in tandem battle eliminations to determine the overall Round 1 champion.  All of the drivers were focused and had their sites locked on the First Place carbon fiber trophy.

Below are some images from throughout the day of practice and competition.  The eventual winner would be Vaughn "JR" Gittin Jr and his Monster Energy/Falken Tires/Ford Racing 2011 Ford Mustang GT.  Second Place went to Rhys Millen and his Red Bull Hyundai Genesis Coupe, and Third Place to Tanner Foust in his V8 powered Rockstar Energy Drink/Scion Racing Scion tC.  Congratulations to all of the drivers and winners of Round 1 Formula Drift!!
